How AI is used in my work
I use artificial intelligence tools as part of my creative process. Treating that as a secret would be dishonest, so here is exactly how it works.

AI tools are used to assist with research, drafting, editing, brainstorming, summarizing source material, generating early-stage concept art for visual exploration, and producing certain non-representational background graphics. They help me work faster and think more thoroughly. They do not replace my judgment, my voice, or my authorship.
What is always human
The following are always created, directed, edited, and approved by me before publication:

All final written content under my name, including blog posts, the Steady Ground Starter course, frameworks, books, speaker materials, and social content.

The Steady Ground Model, the STOMP Method, the SteadyHeart Stories series concept, and all original frameworks. These came from my work, my experience, and my thinking. AI did not invent them.

Personal narrative content, including stories about my life, family, career, and clients. AI does not fabricate those.

Final editorial decisions about what is published and what is not.
What AI does not do here

AI is not used to generate fake testimonials, fake reviews, or fake credentials.

AI is not used to depict me or any real person in synthetic images.

AI is not used to generate images of children for any purpose.

AI is not used to impersonate other authors, experts, or public figures.

AI is not used to produce content presented as journalism or factual reporting without human verification.
Accuracy and errors
AI tools can produce inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete information. I review everything before publishing, but errors can still occur, and so can my own. Ownership and copyright
All published content on this Site reflects my creative authorship, direction, editorial judgment, and revision, regardless of whether AI tools were used during the drafting process. The published work is owned by The Dark Horse Advisory, LLC and is protected by US copyright law. The use of AI as a writing or editing tool does not change that ownership, the same way that using a word processor, spell checker, or research database does not change ownership.

You may not copy, reproduce, redistribute, or use my content to train AI models or develop competing products without written permission.
Why I'm being transparent about this
Hiding the use of AI tools is becoming a credibility risk in itself. Acknowledging it openly is consistent with the brand I am building: honest, not performative. If that costs me a follower who would have preferred the illusion of a fully manual process, that is a tradeoff I am comfortable with.
Changes
This disclosure will be updated as AI tools evolve and as my use of them changes. The effective date at the top will reflect the most recent update.
